There are a couple of things to remember. The material is heavily dependant on the physical accuracy of your scene. Meaning you have to consider the scaling, the geometry, and all that fun stuff. To control the density of the paper, go to MEDIUM SCATTERING node in the material and adjust DENSITY value.
